Project Limits: The project consists of three separate segments within three cities as follows: SW 25 Street from SW 64 Avenue to SR 7, SW 33 Street from SW 62 Avenue to SR 7 in Miramar and SW 72 Avenue from Pembroke Rd. to SW 9 Street in Pembroke
Public Meeting: The public meeting will be held simultaneously in person and virtually. The public meeting will take place on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the South Regional/Broward College Library, 7300 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, 33024. Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. A virtual/formal presentation will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by an open discussion. Scope of Work:
Construct 5’ sidewalks, ADA improvements at crossings, Pavement markings to indicate a shared lane for bicycles and automobiles (SRARROW), Drainage improvements: Regrade swales and add french drains, Design Speed to 30 mph, Install Bus Shelter including bench.
Construction Impacts:
A TTCP (Level 1) will be developed in order to ensure the safety of all motorists and pedestrians throughout the duration of the project. This TTCP plan will include information concerning all phases of construction.
The project will be constructed using lane closures and detours. Only one lane will be closed at a time. Lane closures are proposed only between 9:00 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. Night time closures will only be permitted for asphalt placement. Access to owners will be maintained at all times.
