Project Purpose: The resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation (RRR) project will extend the
service life of the pavement and enhance roadway safety of the corridor.
Construction Start Date: Winter 2025
Construction Completion Date: Spring 2027
Estimated Construction Cost: $12 million
Scope of Work:
- Repave and restripe the existing roadway within the project limits
- Provide a new directional median opening at the St. Johns Improvement District Reservoir Entrance
- Upgrade signing and pavement markings
- Provide ground-in rumble strips on outside and inside shoulders
- Upgrade substandard guardrail at bridges over C-52 Canal
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community
- Temporary lane closures will be required during construction. Lane closures will be performed during Off-peak hours.
- Access to adjacent properties will be maintained at all times
