The in-person Public Meeting will take place at the New River Meeting Hall located at 60 Weston Road, Sunrise, FL 33326. The latest social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Start Date: Summer 2025
Estimated Completion Date: Fall 2026
Estimated Construction Cost: $2.4 Million
Scope of Work:
- Roadway widening to WB SR 84 and SB Weston Road
- Repaving and restriping the existing asphalt
- Replacement of signage impacted by construction
- Upgrade pedestrian facilities and lighting at both intersections
- New pavement markings
- Replace existing strain poles at both signalized intersections
- Upgrade lighting at both intersections
Construction Impacts:
- Work will be done in phases to reduce the inconvenience to the community
- Lane closures will occur during non-peak hours to minimize impacts on traffic and a one week ramp closure is anticipated.
- Access to businesses will be maintained at all times during construction
