Scope of Work:
- Construction of auxiliary lanes at the entrance/exits to boat ramp areas
- Installation of shoulder rumble strips and internally illuminated raised pavement markings (IIRPM’s).
- Shoulder widening to provide 10 foot wide paved roadside and median shoulders to provide a stable and clear space for emergency refuge by vehicles.
- Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) upgrades to interconnection and power supply for improved communications and power supply to existing devices.
Construction Impacts:
- Construction will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community.
- Temporary lane closures will occur during non‐ peak hours and will be limited to a maximum length of 3 miles.
