Proposed Improvements:
- Repaving the roadway
- Installing 4 - foot designated bike lanes in each direction
- Installing pedestrian countdown signal features at the following signalized intersections: SR 7, SW 35th Avenue, Twin Oak Plaza, SW 31st Avenue, SW 29th Terrace, SW 28th Avenue and SW 27th Avenue
- Installing a mid-block crossing west of SW 26th Avenue
- Upgrading westbound pedestrian lighting at the signalized intersections
- Reconstructing curb ramps to meet Americans with Disability Act (ADA)
- Upgrading signing and pavement markings
Construction Impacts:
- Signalized lane closure may occur 8:30 pm to 6:30am
- Pedestrian detours will be implemented
- Access to emergency services, businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
