Public Meeting Dates: Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 6:00 PM, and Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The public meeting will be offered in two different formats: virtual and in-person.

The in-person public meeting will follow an open house format and will take place on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and will be held at the Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Central, located at 2880 Center Port Circle, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. The latest social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Start Date: Winter 2022/2023

Completion Date: Spring 2024

Estimated Construction Cost: $3.8 Million

Scope of Work:

• Repaving and restriping the existing roadway
• Upgrading the existing sidewalk to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards
• Replacement of deficient signing and installation of new pavement markings
• Upgrading the pedestrian crosswalks at signalized intersections to countdown timers. The existing signalized intersections are as follows:
• NW 30 Place
• W Sample Road
• NW 40 Court
• NW 48 Street/Wiles Road/Green Road
• SW 15 Street

Construction Impacts:

• Work will be scheduled in phases to reduce effects of construction on the community
• Temporary lane closures will take place during non-peak hours to reduce impact to the public
• Access to businesses and private properties will be maintained at all times during construction
