Oakland Park Mobility Improvement Project from NW 136th Avenue to North Atlantic Boulevard in Sunrise, Lauderhill and Fort Lauderdale

Traffic Impact:

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently along Inverrary Boulevard West from Oakland Park Boulevard to NW 42nd Street, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for sign and pavement marking installation.

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently along Environ Boulevard from Inverrary Boulevard West to La Mirage entrance, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for sign and pavement marking installation.

The Oakland Park Boulevard Access Road from the north side of NE 32nd Avenue to the south side of NE 32nd Avenue will have intermittent closures, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for cleaning and litter removal.

NE 32nd Street will be closed at Bayview Drive, 9 a.m. Monday, October 18 through 4 p.m. Friday, October 22, for brick paver reconstruction and sidewalk installation.

One lane in each direction along Middle River Drive from NE 26thAvenue to Oakland Park Boulevard will be closed intermittently, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for signage and pavement markings.


NW 31st Avenue Mobility Improvement Project in Fort Lauderdale

Traffic Impact:

The outside lane in each direction will be closed along NW 31st Avenue from Prospect Road to NW 65th Drive, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for construction of ramps and drilled shaft foundations.

The inside lane in each direction will be closed along NW 31st Avenue from Cypress Creek Road to McNab Road, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for roadway widening and concrete installation.


Coral Ridge Drive Mobility Improvement Project in Coral Springs

Traffic Impact:

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently along Coral Ridge Drive from Southgate Boulevard to Wyndham Circle, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for concrete demolition, drainage installation, signalization and curb and gutter operations and roadway widening operations.

One lane in each direction will be closed intermittently along Coral Ridge Drive from Southgate Boulevard to Wyndham Circle, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for curb and gutter installation and roadway widening.


State Road (SR) A1A Resurfacing Project in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea

Traffic Impact:

One lane in each direction may be closed intermittently along State Road A1A/Ocean Boulevard from Pine Avenue to Sunset Lane, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, pavement marking installation and sign installation.

One lane along State Road A1A/Ocean Boulevard will be closed at Bougainvilla Drive, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, for lighting installation.


State Road 845/Powerline Road Mobility Improvement Project in Oakland Park

Traffic Impact:

The outside northbound lane along Powerline Road will be closed from Oakland Park Boulevard to NW 40th Street and from north of the I-95 overpass to Commercial Boulevard, for installation of buffered bicycle lanes and landscape bulb-outs.

One lane may be closed in each direction along Powerline Road from Oakland Park Boulevard to Commercial Boulevard, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for striping operations.

The outside southbound lane along Powerline Road is closed from Commercial Boulevard to north of the I-95 overpass and also, from south of the I-95 overpass to Oakland Park Boulevard for installation of buffered bicycle lanes and landscape bulb-outs.

Powerline Road’s northbound outside lane from Oakland Park Boulevard to NW 38th Street is in its final configuration. It is now closed to vehicle traffic with the lane repurposed for a buffered bicycle lane and landscape bulb-outs.


Riverland Road Mobility Improvement Project in Fort Lauderdale

Traffic Impact:

The outside lane in each direction will be closed with a flagging operation along Riverland Road from State Road 7/US 441 to Elizabeth Mays Civic Park, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for drainage operations.

The southbound outside lane along Riverland Road will be closed from SW 10th Street to SW 11th Court, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for controller cabinet signal work.

Hammondville Road Mobility Improvement Project in Pompano Beach

Sample Road Resurfacing and Lighting Project in Deerfield Beach and Pompano Beach

Traffic Impact:

One lane in each direction may be closed along Sample Road from Military Trail to I-95, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for concrete installation, drainage operations, roadway widening, signalization, lighting, clearing, and grubbing.

One lane in each direction may be closed intermittently along Sample Road from NE 3rd Avenue to US1/North Federal Highway, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, for clearing and grubbing, manhole adjustments, signalization and concrete installation.

NW 3rd Avenue will be closed at West Sample Road beginning, Monday, November 1, for approximately three weeks for installation of drainage, sidewalks and American with Disabilities Act compliant ramps. Detour Route: Eastbound traffic on Sample Road wishing to travel southbound onto NW 3rd Avenue, will turn right onto NW 5th Terrace, turn left onto NW 35th Court and then turn left or right onto NW 3rd Avenue. Northbound traffic on NW 3rd Avenue wishing to travel eastbound on Sample Road will, turn left onto NW 35th Court, turn right onto NW 5th Terrace and then right turn onto West Sample Road. Henry E. Kinney Tunnel Improvements and Pedestrian Plaza Project in Fort Lauderdale

Traffic Impact:

SE 6th Avenue in each direction, from Las Olas Blvd to SE 2nd Street, will be closed to traffic through 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8 for wall demolition activities and construction of end bents for the proposed tunnel extension. Please click this link to view the detour flyer.

Motorists traveling westbound or eastbound on Las Olas Boulevard wishing to access Federal Highway (US-1) via SE 6th Avenue will be detoured to SE 8th Avenue.

Motorists traveling southbound on Federal Highway (US-1) wishing to access Las Olas Boulevard via SE 6th Avenue will be detoured to SE 5th Avenue. Signage will be in place to direct motorists.

US-1 in each direction through the tunnel, from SE 5th Court to SE 2nd Street, will have the outside lanes closed through 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8 for wall demolition activities and construction of end bents for the proposed tunnel extension.

Westbound Las Olas Boulevard, from just west of 8th Avenue to just west of southbound 6th Avenue, will have the outside lane closed to traffic through 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8 for demolition operations of the north tunnel exit.

US-1 southbound, within the Tunnel, will be closed to motorists, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday night, Oct. 12 for tunnel cleaning operations.

Motorists will be detoured via Broward Boulevard, SE 3rd Avenue and 7th Street.

US-1 northbound, within the Tunnel, will be closed to motorists, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Wednesday night, Oct. 13 for tunnel cleaning operations.

Motorists will be detoured via 7th Street, SE 3rd Avenue and Broward Boulevard.

Traffic Impact:

The pedestrian sidewalk along US-1 in each direction, from SE 6th Street to Las Olas Boulevard, will be closed through 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8 for end bent and tunnel top operations.

Pedestrians will be detoured via SE 3rd Avenue.

The Pedestrian sidewalk on southbound SE 6th Avenue, from Las Olas Boulevard to SE 2nd Street, will be closed through 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8 for end bent and tunnel top operations.

Pedestrians will be detoured via SE 3rd Avenue.

The pedestrian crosswalk on Las Olas Boulevard in front of the Henry E. Kinney Tunnel, from southbound SE 6th Avenue to northbound SE 6th Avenue, will be closed through 7 a.m., Monday, Nov. 8 for demolition operations.

Pedestrians will be detoured via the south sidewalk on Las Olas Boulevard.
